An intentionally small, beautifully hosted evening series for women who want a night that lifts them. Where every detail has been considered, so you can stop curating the room you’re in and just be in it.
This first evening, Self & Style, is about the connection between who we are inside, and how we show up on the outside.

5:30 PM – Cocktails on the Terrace
Arrive to a glass of something beautiful and lake views from the Paletta Mansion terrace. Time to settle in, meet the women around you, and let the evening begin.
6:30 PM — Dinner and the Experience
A seated dinner woven with two intentional moments: a short guided experience from Carly Ottaway to set the tone for the evening, and a keynote with Q&A from personal stylist Tania Tonello on presence and personal style.
8:30 PM — Mingling
Continue the conversations, exchange details, and let the night close on your own time.
Who Gather Is For.
This evening is for the version of you that’s been waiting to come back.

Lauren Murdoch Founder of Murdoch Marketing, where she helps entrepreneurs and small business owners build clearer, more intentional brands that grow with them. With over fifteen years of marketing experience, Lauren brings strategy, clarity, and a love of curated experiences to everything she touches. Gather is her way of bringing all of that into the rooms she hosts.
Stephanie Murdoch A Director of Marketing at PepsiCo Canada with fifteen years building iconic brands like Gatorade, Pepsi, and Tostitos. She is a longtime advocate for women in business, with past roles as co-chair of the Forward Together women’s leadership conference and Global Marketing Lead for WIN: Women in Innovation. Stephanie is also the co-owner of Birdies and Brews, a Burlington golf and social club bringing more women into the game.

Guided Experience + Q&A
Carly Ottaway is a former national journalist turned bestselling author. Her writing has appeared in Maclean’s, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Business, and Zoomer, and her debut book, Coming Home: The Path to Your Favourite Self and Permission to Do It Your Way, is a part-memoir, part-manifesto , and a powerful invitation for women to trust their voice, own their truth, and redefine success on their own terms.
She is also the founder of the award-winning boutique agency Web of Words and the host of the Favourite Self podcast. Her work lives at the intersection of personal growth and personal brand, helping women move from hidden to visible, and from the version they were told to be to the version they actually are.
Tania Tonello on presence and personal style.
Keynote + Q&A
Tania Tonello is one of Canada’s most recognized voices on personal style. As a resident Fashion Expert on Breakfast Television and a former regular on Cityline, she is known for helping women feel and look their best through styling. Tania’s career has taken her through experience with TJX, lululemon, Banana Republic, and Holt Renfrew, and her work today spans Colour Analysis, Closet Edits, Personal Shopping, and Trip Packing.
Beyond television, Tania models, regularly hosts events and speaks on style, confidence, and personal presence.
Her approach goes well beyond what looks good. It’s about how clothing shapes mood, how presence is communicated before a word is spoken, and how showing up as yourself, with intention, changes the room you walk into.

From the moment I arrived, everything felt so thoughtfully curated, from the hair and makeup touch-ups to the gift bags and the chance to connect with such a great group of people. The headshots were absolutely stunning and truly captured everyone at their best. The panel was full of generous, insightful speakers who shared real, actionable advice. Lauren, you created an incredible atmosphere with such a great group of people. Thank you for hosting such a memorable and high-impact event.
I will forever be grateful. This one event changed the trajectory of my life. It was such an expansive event.
